To be honest it's hit or miss really. The first kit I bought was a McCulloch kit ($430) and it lasted 13 months (12 month warranty). I went with the vendor DDMtuning and haven't had any problems plus they have a lifetime warranty and their kits are cheap. Basically any kit you buy is really a product from China since anywhere else it's illegal to make them.
I have headlights and fogs from DDMtuning currently, a dozen or more other members have kits from them as well.

35W is all you really need
9007 hi/low kit for the headlights
H1 for the fogs
As far as bulb color I highly recommend 5000K, its about as clean white as you can get. 4500K will have a slight hue of yellow to it and 6000K will have a slight hue of blue to it.

Every time I look at an HID thread, the most common name is DDM Tuning. Folks from all forums I frequent have their kits in all different types, wattage, and applications.
Once I get Christine fixed, I will be ordering some from DDM.

Would like to order from DDM myself as well, but would like my tint to be the same as that of silverstars...would that be 5000 or 6000? I don't want some ricer blue look but like the slightly blue tint of silverstars.

If you want White/Yellow go 4500K.
If you want White go 5000K.
If you want White/Blue go 6000K.
6000K will have a hue of blue in it and as the K number goes up it goes from blue to purple.
It's really all in how your eyes pick up colors.

Due to the power of the 55W ballast, the output is slightly washed out as seen above. We sell bulbs with kelvin ratings that range from 3000K to 12000K. 3k being yellow and 12k being the bluish in color. The most popular color we sell is 6000k. That would be described as white with a hint of blue. For maximum visibility, we would recommend staying within 4500K-6000K. The closer the color is to natural sunlight, the more you will see on the road.

You will lose visibility when going towards 12000k. Most people who do 10000-12000k are going for a specific look. The Ballast are what controls the brightness of the output while the bulb will reflect the color of the light.
Note: All projectors can vary in color. Our colors are true to our description. Bulb colors can appear to be different based on outside factors, such as the type of headlight you are putting them in and they way the light is being reflected or projected out of them.
