Has anyone ever had a sunroof/mooroof leak?

The outside trim edge of mine looks like it's not properly sealed at the corners and i get drips only after a lot of rain and it comes in where my drivers side visor hinge is and then through the overhead compass...

Anyone else ever have a similar problem?

The interior trim for it also looks kinda sloppy also. Thinking about taking it in and having it fixed.

Not on the MM; but I developed a moonroof leak on my '94 Thunderbird. Mine was related to the rubber seal that ran around the opening. After many years of use and exposure to the sun and UV, I think that this seal just dried out, shrunk, and opened up a 1/8" to 1/4" gap that allowed the rainwater to leak in just over the passenger seat.

It seemed to bother the wife more than it did me .... but only when it was raining. :o

I never replaced the rubber seal; but plugged the gap with some clear silicone caulking that seemed to help for a while. Eventually, I got rid of the T-Bird for the Marauder. No moonroof in this one.

Check the drains at the rear of the moonroof. They exit in the rear tire wells.

+1 clean the drains first and see what happens.
