I am considering performance mods for my 03 (supercharger, etc). Anyone had that done or know a reputable shop in or near Chicago?

Also would appreciate advice on what mods make sense for an every day driver.

Thanks

Zack knows his stuff with the Marauder, and I know Zack to be a straight up dude, otherwise, I wouldn't hang with him.

If you're looking at heavy duty stuff, call Mike Lopez at High Speed Performance in Chicago Ridge. 708.499.5220. High Speed is a full race shop, and Mike is very familiar with our MMs. He's done a lot to help us out, and we ran a dyno day with Jerry there last August.

If you need a mod friendly LM dealer, check out Napleton LM in Blue Island, 708.385.4500, ask for Jim in Service. They will fix your MM without having a puppy over our customary mods. In fact, they installed all of my Stage I and II mods on my first MM. Good people.

Do you like chicken? I know where you can get a kick azz bacon double cheeseburger...

whatever you do dont go to Street Stuff in addison, they are horrible and their prices are through the roof. I wont go there, ive talked with alot of people that wont go there. seen my fair share of cars that have had work done there, and lets just say they no longer run because of that.

Appreciate that. Where not to go is probably more valuable than where to go...

ThanksIf you ever take your Marauder to Woodfield Ford in Schaumburg for any type of service (I know they're not a Lincoln-Mercury dealer!), ask the service writer that Dean Moore work on your car. Dean's a friend of the family and he's been a mechanic at Woodfield almost since it opened in 1973. He's done many types of special work on my Fords over the years, including special shocks and exhaust systems, etc. I would trust Dean with anything on my cars! The only bad thing about any dealer service, is their hourly labor charge...it can be a killer!

I have seen Zack's work on my car and others, IMHO you can't get better than him. I have driven 300 miles round trip TWICE for Zack to perform work on my MM. Nuff said
