Is there also a relay on the hsadlight switch that for a bad? How can u test the headlight switch to see if its working?

No relay inside the switch.

Check to see if there is power going in when the switch is off, and power coming out when the switch is on.

So where does that other headlight relay go that's different in size and shape from the other relays

????? other headlight relay ??????

There are 4 relays inside the LCM. They are all the same.

I looked up headlight relay on rock auto and it shows another relay under headlight relay that looks different

I'm having so many problems with my lights. My parking lights sorta work right now my headlights won't come back on. I switched the relay and it wasn't that. All my fuses are good also.

Components in the headlight circuit:

Central Junction Box aka: Fuse Box (under the dash to the left of the steering column))
LCM (under the dash to the right of the steering column)
Multifunction switch (on the left side of the steering column)
Instrument Cluster High Beam Indicators lamp (in the instrument cluster)
*Fog light cutoff relay (under the hood in the Battery Junction Box, behind the battery)
*This relay cuts off the foglights when switching on the High Beams.

What would cause the headlights not to come on besides a fuse or relay? My parking lights will come on now but not the headlights. I'm thinking I might have a loose wire in the harness that connects to the LCM. Cause when I put my hand under there and nice the wires around the parking lights and headlights will click on and off.

Probably the relay INSIDE the LCM.

Tap the LCM and see if the lights come on.

I did the external relay fix. I even swapped the relay to see if that was it but it wasn't. When I turned on the lights before I had the relay in my hand and felt and heard it click when I turned the switch. Now I get nothing..but can hear the click inside the LCM for the parking lights?

Did it ever work after you did the external relay?

Yep it was working fine. Then I started having problems with the parking lights. But have u seen or heard of the harness that connects to the LCM having problems? Cause like I said before when mu.parking lights would click off I could pit my hand under there and move the wires around and they would click back on. The same for the headlights.

I'd check the connectors going into the LCM. I've seen (and repaired) broken connectors that are in the LCM. The big white connector would be the one I'd look at.

That big white connector already got broken away from the board. Took it to an electronics shop and got it fixed. When I plugged it back up it was fine. It could be the male part of the harness that plugs into the big white connector. I might need to get that male part of the harness replaced. Something weird is going on under there..unless I change the other 3 relays on the LCM. But for me to wiggle the wires around a bit for it to click on gotta mean that there is some wire loose somewhere...

From what your describing, it sounds like the connector could be the problem.

Actually it's the female part of the harness... female = sockets, male = pins.

The only way to replace that female connector is to get a connector from a donor harness and splice it in.

I guess that's like looking for a needle in a haystack. A crown vic LCM would work in our Marauders wouldn't it? Might try to find one of those so I can test to see if its the LCM or the wires.

CV or GM from the same years should work.

Used LCMs are geting very hard to come by, I found one the entire SE Altantic region (SC, NC, GA, VA) about 18 months ago, and I got that for $100.

FWIW, from what you've described. it sounds like it's prolly a wiring issue, why not chase that down first?

That big white connector already got broken away from the board. How the heck did THAT happen? You let Sideshow Bob drive your car?

(For those not up on their Simpsons references, he has huge feet)
