I bought an Xcal3 from Dennis a year ago. Even after loading the standard Dennis tune my car always shifted weird (IMO - And I have nothing to compare it against) - It always seemed to labor in whatever gear it was in. I posted about this last and got some opinions etc. I went back to Dennis and got a more aggressive trans program and that was better but...
I loaded up an anonymous tune I found laying around on the interwebs and that was even better, but it had its own issues, and my base issue persisted. Then winter hit and I didn't care. This spring it was bugging me and I was finally able to articulate it - It wasn't downshifting easily enough to my liking. It would only downshift at WOT, which is impractical when I'm zipping back and forth to work :-)
I called Dennis 3 weeks ago and discussed it briefly. He sent another tune and this time he nailed it. I've been driving in many different situations and it behaves real good. What a blast to drive!
