Who'd be interested in a + & - cable upgrade?

4 gauge cables custom made to the correct length.

Quick release battery terminals
Red cables for the + side
Black cables for the - side

Soldered copper lugs, heat shrink tube on all the connections.

I can't be the only one thinking this, what is it and what do it look like?

Are you just thinking battery kit or a full grounding kit? I'd be interested in a full kit. Colored wire if you could source it would be cool too. Red for your car, Yellow for Embassy etc.

Quick release terminals

Could also do these types of terminals - but there would be more expense involved.

Like the "Full Ground Kit" with the Phoenixgold tip! How well will those "Quick" be, as far as longevity?

Def like the EFX terminal, what is that, a digital voltage reading at all times?
-pretty fancy, I like.

The EFX turns off the LEDs after a timeout period when the engine is off too.

I was looking more for something like these - this one's for the starter.

Taylor Cable 20110 - Taylor Diamondback Shielded Battery Cables

Battery Cable, Diamondback Shielded, 4-Gauge, 10 in. Long, Eyelet on Both Ends, Each

Estimated Ship Date: 12/27/2011
UniversalNoBattery Cable Type (Application)Starter to switch

Don't want the quick disconects but the shielding is nice.

FBM, did you use OFC or CCA wire?

I bought some db link 4 gauge wire which was listed as OFC but really is CCA so now I am starting to re-think using it for the Big 3 upgrade. Using it for my amp won't be a problem but concerned about since most CCA wires have the flow of whatever size smaller than in equal power flow. Say 4 gauge db link cca wire flow rate might be equal to something like Kicker 8 gauge ofc wire.

I'd like the EFX posts for the Positive cable and the Phoenix gold for the e negatives. One set for the stock MM and one set for the eaton swap....
