I just noticed that both of my side turning "spot lights" are not working, what fuse is responsible for them? I tried replacing the lights so I believe it is a blown fuse? Any help would be appreciated!

Do your hi beams work? If not fuse #27 (25A) is blown. That fuse also controls the cornering lamps.

Any other ideas?

See if there is power at the sockets. If not, then start working your way back through the harnesses, connectors and grounds.

Do your turn signals work?

The cornering lamps circuit is pretty simple.

Fuse #27 (25A) hot at all times

LCM

Multifunction switch

Cornering lamps

What voltage should I be seeing at the socket?

I would think 12v. Don't all of the lights on the car run at 12v?

12v is correct. I use a test light to see if there is anything there.

The multifunction switch is the headlight switch correct? The switch u use to cut on the lights?

The multifunction switch is your wiper/turn signal switch (hence multifunction).

I am only getting around 2.6 to 2.4 volts at the socket when the blinker is on, any ideas?

Sounds like a grounding problem some where so far.

Im trying to avoid pulling the entire front end apart to chase wires but it seems like that might be my next step. Every other light works fine just the the two side lights. Starting to get angry at this point.

Unfortunately as the cars get older little things like this come up from time to time. But doing it yourself vs paying a shop almost $100.00 and hour to track it down is a bit of a no brainer in the long run.

Grab a shop manual off of e-bay that has the wiring routing to make it easier for you.

I think it might be a grounding issue.

If your going to get a manual, get a Crown Victoria / Grand Marquis Wiring Manual. Either a 20043 or 2004 will work. When I get home I'll see if I can scan the appropriate pages for you.

You said you have only 2 or 3 volts at the socket was that connecting the ground to the socket or a known good ground like the battery (-) terminal? If it wasn't to the known good ground redo the test with the (-) of the volt meter connected to that known good ground. IF the results don't change then the problem is not the ground. Since both lights are affected then it is likely up stream like between the multifunction sw and the LCM. After the multifunction sw they are 2 separate circuits so it is unlikely that you have a problem with both circuits.
