I have a 2003 mm blk and the pass seat vibrates heavily when I apply brakes abruptly .. Especially when someone is in the seat... Idk what it is the seat is bolted down tight jus shakes a little but i can't even have some one sit in the passenger seats it's so annoying.... What could it be???? What should I check....

Sounds like your front rotors maybe warped.

What he said. Also, check and see if the caliper is not hanging up.

It's none of that at all.... It's vibration right under .. When I come to a stop or drive on the highway with someone in the pass seat... I thought it could be floor pan or trans vibration but it's only on the pass seat

Im thinking exhaust. The rear set of cats are in that general location.

This only happens when applying brakes???

Could also be motor mount. You are appling the brakes and everything is shifting forward. If the mount is bad, the engine could be shifting enough to move twist the exhaust.

"Passenger's seat vibrates heavily under abrupt braking" does sound like a warped rotor....

Then again....:hmmm:.....Do your passengers frequent 'All-you-can-eat' Mexican restaurants???

If it is only felt in the seats and only when braking then it is most likely a rear brake issue.

If you feel it in the steering wheel it is a front brake problem.

But if it is only felt in the passenger seat under any condition then something could be loose and rattling under that side of the car or the tracks in the seat could be opening up allowing the seat to move or a loose mounting bolt for the seat.

Maybe motor mounts and or tranny mount.
