If it's got bumps the inner core is defective. I'd replace it ASAP!

Time for a replacement. I can guarantee if you don't it will burst at night, in the rain, on a highway with narrow shoulders, far from home.

That tube needs changing out ASAP!

Maybe start a "Want To Buy" thread?

There is a possibility someone on here has one laying around that they can afford to part with?

Worth a try...

Good luck and keep us posted.

Mike.

Wow when was the last time the cooling system was flushed?

Might be a good idea before new crossover pipe is installed to flush the system several times to get all the debris out.

Good luck and hopefully no further damage or problems are discovered.

HASAAAAAAAAAAAA

That is just cosmetic damage, but you will NEVER get the Fill hole/air bleeder to open that's for sure so a replacment is in your future

Hey John, PM Spectragod, I think he's still got a used COT in good condition.

mine is not as bad, but the inside looks great. i would change it soon, but would not be paranoid. The little steel pipe on the psgr side likley looks worse, and it can be eliminated with heater hose. These steel pipes are likely just a cheap extrenal coating. The top big pipe assy has an oring on both legs that seal into the holes. Pipe cost about 140$.

Wow:eek: that's cheap. Dealer quoted me well above 200 clams a couple of years ago for a new one.
