Its the economy and gas prices or this would go quickly. Was it the actual Sheriff who used it or was it in the fleet? This may be scaring people off as cars in a police fleet tend to be beaten to death, I know, I did 34 years as a LEO, but command level vehicles were much better taken care of by their assigned drivers. If something went wrong with my assigned vehicle it went in for repair ASAP and I treated it like my own. Thats why it stayed in service when I received a new unit over cars that were newer with less miles.

You can get a black rubber hole sealer that pops in place where the antenna was. Not the best, but beats a piece of tape. Your local PD garage can probably advise as to where you can obtain one.

lol, yeh seriously, stock Marauders aren't difficult to handle. Maybe in rain, but that's more because of the RWD platform than the power...

anyone shouldnt be scared due to police unit I bought a ex-FHP coupe fox body with 125,000 on it once and beat the snot out of it for another 100,000. Yeah they drive them hard but they also due routine maintanence.

The $6500 was one of the many ridiculous offers I got. The car is priced very low as to sell it quickly. I guess the market just isnt there. Somebody buy this CAr!!!!!!!

Call around the salvage yards, often you can find a trunk lid the correct color, one for the Crown Vic is same...

I don't know man, $8950 sounds a tad high to me, given the overall condition:
Electrical prob, hole in trunk, paint issues, no spare/jack etc.
If someone wanted to make it stand tall, there is some $$$ to be spent.
Also, given the current economy, someone may have difficulty getting a loan.
If the price was right, it would have already sold.
Just my humble opinion, but, what do I know...

The electrical problem probably due to the wires being disconnected when the police garage removed the police equipment. The paint is not bad but it isnt perfect either. I dont want someone to think their buying and immaculate vehicle and be dissapointed, it cleans up beautifully. I generally downplay my vehicles so that when somebody gets the car they will be surprised in a good way, not a bad way. I have bought cars on ebay where the seller did not point out all the defects and I felt scammed. I do not want to do this to anybody. Also, given the current KBB of the car in good condition is $10,995 and fair condition is $9,905. I feel that I have priced my car VERY fairly.
