brembo rotors

hello, new member here, 2003 m/m 137000 miles no modifications yet, first will be better brakes and suspension. has anyone used brembo rotors as a replacement,and are they appricialbly better than stock? thanks buntingmiester-charlotte nc

There are many opinions on the best options for brakes for the Marauder.

Do you want to go with aftermarket calipers? Bigger brakes? Do you want to keep your stock wheels?

Marauders are heavy cars and therefore any brake option is a trade off in one way or another.

thanks illwood, just replacing rotors now/stock size, brembo makes a repalcement just would like to here of anyone who has tried them, giong with stock oem pads, i think brembo will be a higher quality replacement, but ??? thanks, buntingmiester

The OP said that they make a replacement rotor that matches the Marauder.

I assume you were saying that Brembo doesn't make a brake kit that will fit our cars (rotors & calipers).

Baer Brakes has a 14" front kit for $1295.00. I have seen these kits on a couple of Marauders, and they look good. As far as replacing with stock sizes, you will always benefit from going with a well established company ... Brembo, dba, and others I can't think of. Google a company called brake warehouse... I use them for all my braking parts. They will steer you in the right direction based on your intended use of the vehicle. Good luck, but most importantly have fun!
