Someone turned me on to Menzerna polishes and Zaino shortly after the shootout. After I spent hundreds of dollars on meguirers and other products, I finally found the right combination of stuff. Menzerna polishes, wolfgang sealants, and dodo juice waxes. Zaino makes a good tire gloss and glass polish.
I spent one night on each panel working patiently polishing, waxing and so on. Finally I ended it all with a product called Dodo juice.
This stuff works wonders. Black velvet and purple haze are the duo I used. I know it sounds like some good drisno but they are really a soft wax and a hard wax. Talk about water beading off. The polishing does that, the wax makes it fly off. Bugs now use my car as a slip and slide ride. If I could only charge them. Now for the powder coating and I'm done with my car for now. Well maybe for a month or so. Autogeek.com has good specials for all our detail needs. Hope this helps guys.

Did you put it on by hand or with a PC?

You gotta try Croftgate products.

IMO, best thing on the market.

Been saying Dodo Juice stuff is great for a long time. Purple Haze makes black colored cars paint pop.

I love AutoGeek.com. lol

I tried their wheel cleaner at the shootout. It was alright. A friend of mine uses their products and likes it. Im not to fond of the one bucket wash system. Another thing I found with the wolfgang product is the antistatic properties it has. Chime in Gary. Have you tried croftgate? I know you know more about detailing products than I do.

The one bucket wash system is what I really like about Croftgate. I can do my whole car in about 15-20 minutes with a gallon of water; really great to take on the road, especially to car shows.

I bought some ONR from autogeek but for me to use it my car is already clean enough that most people would just use QD spray and a MF towel and move on.
Jury's still out on it for me.
I put Fuzion on top of mucho layers of Zainos and was really impressed with it.

I met the Dodo himself at a car show and really liked him so I bought his products (and a cool shirt) but I haven't had time to try it out yet. Maybe this weekend.
Got a show n shine Sunday

I switched to Zaino after every brand of Carnuba Based Wax melted off during the Summer.
Layerable polymers and Carnuba waxes both have pros and cons.
Zaino is more durable then the Carnuba wax which works for my Black DD.

Zaino results in a highly reflective surface that also shows every imperfection.

Carnuba wax has a soft reflection and hides some imperfections. I prefer the Carnuba wax reflection.

Good comparison Sailsman. I also prefer carnuba especially since my car rarely sees the sun to melt it off.

I noticed the Dodo Juice is $70, how many complete car waxes can you get out of the 250ml size? One of the only CONs about having a large car...

I think the canister says it does like 30the or 40the coats. It is some good stuff. Ask Landy or Phil they see my car. Flawless.
