Side Marker Lens Replacement

I am going to replace the headight and side marker light assemblies since they are looking a bit worn. I have the OEM parts and have the headlight assembly replacement figured out, but was wondering if any members know a relatively easy way to get at the two plastic push on retainers for the side marker assemblies. The two sidemarker retaining nuts in the center look easy, but the two plastic push on retainers on either end of the housing look more difficult to access. I was thinking that maybe access could be had through the wheel well. Thank you in advance.

Remove the nuts, then the whole front of the lens is loose.
Gently pull the front-end of the lens out and forward at the same time.
DO NOT PRY AT THE BACK CLIPS.
It will just slide out.
(Had mine out a million times).
