I got a hold of a guy at SSINSERTS. He told me they don't make the black titanium style anymore only the chrome ones. He will talk it over to see about making a production run if there is enough interest in them. If anybody else wants them please chime in so we can get something going. Also I don't know if I'm stepping on any vendors toes here, if so maybe one of them will set this up for us. Thanks guys. he just called me back to put price at $41 more than the chrome ones on the site currently. That puts it at $106. Is that what he had them on his site for before?

I saw those when I ordered my first set from ssinserts.com. I just went with them. Does anyone have or seen the black reflective ones on bobwhitedecals.com? I've just been impressed with the quality of ssinserts product. I think I've only seen red ones from bobwhites.

I have the black reflective ones on my DTR, IMO, the black chrome ones from ssinserts would be superior, not cheaper........

They are not chrome. They are mirror-polished stainless steel. I've had my SS Inserts for 7 years and love 'em. They look brand new. Thought they were a bit pricey initially; but time has proven that they're worth every penny. JMHO. :D

Yeah I meant stainless not chrome. You guys are right though, pricey but high quality. I hope they don't require a minimum for a production because I want a set.

Today the titanium black mirror finish at ssinserts.com are back in stock for a limited time. Very sharp looking i must say.

I have the black reflective bob whites on mine. they are more like a charcoal gray and they turn bright silver at night under headlights. They do match the edging on our floor mats though so they look stock, and I really like them since I go for an understated sleeper look.

I really wanted the titanium ones when I was looking for inserts, and they had just run out of them. I went ahead and bought the mirror finish ones, but have yet to put them on my car.

I would love a second opportunity to get the titanium ones, and don't have any prob laying down a c-note for them.

They're available again. He did another run. How much for your mirror finish if you get the ties?

I'll have to do some research to see how much I paid for them. I'd be willing to sell for what I paid plus $5 for shipping. They are still in original packaging.

Glad I got mine before they stop makin them. Mine are still in the envelop sitting on the counter.

I put the Titanium "SS Inserts" on my Black Marauder in 2008...
excellent looking, quality product.....and yes Expen$ive...:cool:
