That's close to the price I paid for mine in 04. So 7yrs later they get $29K.

I paid $27.5K for my Blue MM in October 2003 with 54 miles on it. Make sure you check this one out really well. If this car has been sitting for 7 years, it may have unknown/unseen problems due to non-use. Dried out seals. Dry rotted tires, etc.

Now I know there are a ton of questions about this car. On one hand where do you think you will EVER find a marauder with this knid of miles on the clock?

I sure if you made a "ballpark" offer you would have a deal:)

If you bought this car and actually wanted to drive it, each mile would cost you big money. If however, you wanted to continue to store it, it may or may not go up in value at this price over the short years. Many, many years, and you would definitely have something special.

Of course this thread had to have the customary DTR "slow" comment. Only about 11,000 of these cars made and yet over and over the put down of the DTR's continue.

No doubt you have some factual data to support your position that color (black, silver, blue, put your color here)= fast. Perhaps you would be so kind as to share this information with the auto manufacturers. I'm sure they would be interested in your theory and then we could all be the same and equally fast.

Very sad for the DTR owners like me who enjoy this special and limited car and the information and community of this site. :( Just my $.02.

I never said it, but it is a continuing joke. Just take it with a grain of salt. Some people love to hate silver, blue and especially black as well.

This DTR is so slow it was only able to travel 400 miles in 7 yrs.

It is a DTR joke amongst the members if you had more then 57 posts in 7yrs you would understand. Then again maybe your as slow as youe DTR. J/K now. ;)

Not only do I "hate" all Marauders not Blue, I hate all Marauders not mine!!! :D
It's like a sports team rivalry. Everyone's is the best. If we really actually hated the other colors, Marauder gatherings would be no fun. I havn't met a DTR owner yet that I didn't like. Except MM2004. And guspech750. Rayjay, too. Waymon, can't leave him out. Shawn Criswell. So yeah, except for those DTR owners, I love them all.

Jealousy shows it's head in ugly ways .
How many black and blue marks don't show a tinge of red?
Silver, is the one I have a problem with! :P

Okay, fair is fair, there were limited releases of DTR, SB, and DPB which makes them a minority within a minority which is cool. However do you know how the color black is made? Black includes all colors which is why it is fastest. The other colors are lacking in some way which is why they have a different shade.

How do you make up DTR? Remove all the go fast components and the car turns Red

In other words, lighten up Francis

At first I was thinking wow, $29k for a eight year old car, crazy. But then I decided hell, this is pretty nice. Its basically a new car and it will be easy to tell if it was parked in a garage ect... The pics seem to verify this. A test drive and an underneath inspection will tell if the seals are ok. Frankly, it seems like a fair price for the car and might be just the ticket for somebody who missed the boat when the the cars were new and lusted for a new one since then. I hope whoever gets it will become a member here so we can hear the story.

Now you talking! 8 year old car mint condition with under 500 miles!!

Never going to see that again with a marauder:bows:

Seals can be replaced.

What a hoot it would be to show up at MV-IX with marauder with only 500 miles on the clock:up:

Nice car obviously, but not really suitable for anyone planning to DRIVE it. Definite collector value no doubt.

Heck my 04 was really clean and like new with 53K, and a quick Autotrader search found a few others 10- 20 K miles for some 15-16K asking. Save the 13K and drive the car with less worries
