So I have been reading a lot about the hid foglights and it seems that moding the foglight base is the only way to make H1 hids fit but I did read on one of the threads that there is a possibility that 9145 hid kits would fit, has anyone tried these. If so did it work?

Dunno about that one but the H1s fit with modification to the stock connector that locks the bulb into the assembly.

The only rumor I would be interested in putting to rest is if a 9006 bulb would fit by simply grinding down one retaining tabs..without having to modify or use the stock connector. Someone mentioned it here a while back.

Sounds good please do. I bought the hid headlights but I don't want to put them on without the fogs and I guess the mods for the H1 fitment is easy but I'd probably mess that up. So if I can get around it I would be a happy man.

I'd like to get some (low throwing) flamethrowers for fogs.

They arrived.

Won't be able to try them out until Tuesday...... having to work for a living sucks..........

H10 bulbs do work with a minimum amount of work.
