considering it needs an actuator, and a throttle body, and elbow intake i would call it an average deal, no biggie

yeah the throttle bodys are the same, but for the asking price it should come with the elbow intake, tb, and a functional actuator imho

The elbow and a functional actuator, for sure.
Although it does have a pulley on it (looks like a stock 3.6").
Like m.m. said, average deal.

Thanks guys; I thought I'd ask.
I've never owned a blower (I know CBT :P), and had no idea. Add to that all the searching for parts to make it fit on the MM, probably not worth it. To me anyway.
If these things don't cost that much, I can't understand why a blower install is $5000-$6000? I don't get it. I thought that price was mostly for the blower!?!

5 to 6 K sounds like a whole brand new kit with everything. So far I have a blower, elbow, throttle body, and custom brackets and have only spent about 725.00, just watching and waiting to pick up the other parts. Offer the person 300 (that's with shipping) because of what's missing on it, maybe they will let it go.

^^^ I'm pretty sure they won't go for that price WITH SHIPPING, as it's coming from British Columbia to Toronto.
That's like, California to Carolina. It's cross country.
But I'll check anyway.

IMO, half the fun of doing an Eaton swap is the parts hunting. I learned a bunch of info about supercharging, as well as the 4.6 4V engine while searching for parts.
If you take your time and look for deals, you should be able to pick up all the parts for around $3,000 (+/- maybe $500). Depending on whether or not you do your own installation, and the cost of a dyno tune in your area, you're looking at another $250 to $1,000; not bad for a set up that will give you 400+ rwhp with a conservative tune.
The three most expensive components are the M112 blower, the lower intake manifold, and the intercooler. Again, depending on who's selling and what's included, you can expect to pay around $300 - $350 for each component, but you need to confirm what you're getting, as a "deal" may not be one if some stuff is missing.
As noted in an earlier post, you'll want to try and get an M112 with the elbow and actuator included. If it comes with a TB, great (it's the same one that comes on your car, so you can sell your OEM unit to recover some of the cost). As far as the LIM and I/C go, if the mounting bolts are included you'll save another $20 to $50 if they are; if not, you'll have to either hunt them down, or buy new from a dealership.
Also, need to check to see if the I/C includes the coolant intake manifold and coolant tubes. If they're not included, plan on shelling out an extra $75 to $350 for the parts.
That said, I'm extremely pleased with my Eaton swap. I had ImpalaSlayer do the install and had him handle getting it dyno tuned and can't say enough about his quality of workmanship, and the job the tuner did getting it set up. All told, I've got about $4,500 complete in the swap, I put another $1,000 or so into the exhaust system, and am currently putting out 450 rwhp and 449 rwtq. Knowing what I do now, I could have prolly saved myself $500 - $750 had I shopped differently, but all things considered, the money was well spent for the results; I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Pheewwww! I hate to admit it, but this just might be one of those jobs that I'd pay someone to do......well maybe not .
That said, I'm in Toronto. Come over and I'll even through you a tank of gas, and bottle...no a 24 of Canadian Beer.

I highly recommend ImpalaSlayer if you're considering doing an Eaton swap.
FWIW, it's about 800 km from your place to his, that's even closer than my drive up there... ;)
