To me, "Marauder Sightings!" is the gearhead equivalent of Craigslist's Missed Connections.
You: Driving northbound on Halsted at Wrightwood at 11:15pm with a passenger up front. Very clean, nice exhaust note.
Me: Drunk guy in front of Kingston Mines Chicago Blues yelling "Nice car!!" at you and startling the nice folks in Lincoln Park standing in line to pay a $15 cover. :beer:
I was impressed that I wasn't the first person in my party to notice you. It was someone else, not even remotely interested in cars, who first pointed and yelled "Marauder!" It took me a few years to train my non-car-enthusiast friends, but they're finally catching on. :cool4:
