Nope .... the rarest one is the DPB that ended up without a standard radio or an audiophile system. Doh !!!

Thanks again. You are the man for research on mm.net Actually I'm looking at two different ones. They both have charcoal int ironicly enough. I tried hitting up Mike on his but, apparently someone already bought it.

For the record, I was really surprised at the FPG 2:1 Light Flint interior breakout ratio over Charcoal and had estimated very early that it was exactly the opposite. Steve Babcock spoke to me at MV III in Detroit out on Woodward Avenue during WDC and he told me that "DBP/Light Flint was the rarest". He gave no numbers, so I assumed a mix of 40% Charcoal (131) and 60% Light Flint (197). Turns out to be just about the opposite when I got my FPG breakout certificates on 16 November 2009. Maybe Steve just got them reversed in his memory or maybe he was just stroking my ego a bit. ;)

Actual breakout of DPB was 66% Light Flint (215) and 33% Charcoal (113).

I gues the next question is "How many DBP with Charcoal seats that are heated. Can't tell from the breakout; but all Light Flint (215) could have them. I do. Maybe there's only 2 DBP/Charcoal with heated seats.

Chime in if you have a DBP/Light Flint WITHOUT heated seats or DBP/Charcoal WITH heated seats.

Maybe this is a good poll question ... but I don't think we have enough Blue MM owners to get a decent indication on this.

Thanks. As I recall, his was one of the first blues and was shipped to DR for the S/C and other goodies. I had Keith/NAVCHAP autograph the magazine article that was published on his car.

Yep, so that theory is out the window. There is some sort of mix of heated seats in both Light Flint and Charcoal. Don't think we will ever find out exactly.

My first DPB had flint no heat. I test drove a DPB with BC4E bout a year ago in Tampa with flint no heat. Test drove another in lousiana 5 months ago flint no heat.

Hey ya know what? I've driven close to 1% of DPB out there.

Drive 3 more and you'll be a 2%er. There's an MM pin for that. Long time ago.

If I had to make an estimate based on the 2003 breakout, I'd say

75% of 215 DBP/Light Flint had heated seats (161)
Leaving 56 DBP/Charcoal with heated seats. (56)
