You guys have seen plenty of pics of this car, we are just moving on to different projects.

The Good....
We purchased the car off the original owner in Long Island NY.
Comes with all original documents including the Protect-O-Plate, original bill of sale, finance papers, original factory shop manual, dealer books, and advertisements.
Car was recently tuned up,
New brakes, wheel cylinders and, master cylinder,
New hood liner,
New regulator,
New trunk carpeting,
New battery and cables,
Replaced window track,
Rebuilt radiator as well as new upper and lower radiator hoses,
New motor & transmission mounts,
New tires,
Original spinner deluxe hub caps,
We cleaned up the under carriage as well as undercoated it and the engine was cleaned and painted after we picked it up.
Car has 89K original miles and runs & drives mint.

The Bad....
The transmission front seal is leaking, the front snorkle fell off the front of the air cleaner and was lost, but I have a un-chromed replacement air cleaner that goes with the car.
The car has had minor body work on the front fender years before we purchased it and the clearcoat appears to be cracked.
All of the aluminum panels are original and could use some restoration.
The car has the entire A/C system in tact, but it could use a charge and replacement of the vacuum lines for the interior vent controls. Has original radio in the dash, but not working.

This car has all the original trim, chrome, interior panels, and badges. We put a lot of work into it and we are sad to see it go, but we wanna move onto a street rod or something cool like that.
Car is located in Astoria Queens and will be personally detailed by me. ;)

Asking $15K for it.
PM me with any questions.

Gorgeous car. Probably GM's nicest bucket seat upholstry.

But, if there were one change I would have liked to see, it would have been painted Honduras Maroon instead of black. (In 1961, I had my 57 Olds 98 convert painted from white to Honduras Maroon. Great color, IMHO.)

In 1963, I had the opportunity to drive this car's almost twin, a 2 dr Super 88 (with four barrel), not a Starfire, from North Jersey to Auburn NY to deliver it from dealer to dealer.

The odd thing was the trans. It was a three speed, column shift, not the typical GM 4 sp automatic.

Had a great time on the NY Thruway.

When I was in grade school, my best friend's Dad had the same car, Black with white interior, I remember the first time he floored it, getting on the highway when he was taking us to school, I thought I was in the fastest car in the world. I think that's where my preference for fast black cars began. Beautiful car.....good luck with the sale

So what is the new project?

1934 3 window coupe project. My Uncle and I are the owners of this car. He has had his heart set on a Factory five car for years.

That is one beautifull looking car...didn't it have a switch of some type on the console that went from everyday to super duper power???

Only has switches on the console for the power windows. If there was such a switch on this car, I would have found and used it. ;)

IMHO, this car blows away 62 Impalas, Pontiacs, and (sorry, guys) Galaxies and Mercs. MoPars aren't even close. (Blows away my 64 Galaxie 500 XL.)

The only competition is the 62 Bullet Bird and 62 Corvette, but those cars aren't fair comparisons.

One of the prettiest cars ever made. One of my all time favorites.

Much better than the 61 and 63 Olds Starfire versions.
