Good Morning Everyone,

Have a annoying problem that I have recently noticed in my 03. When I turn the AC on (or maybe fan in general...I haven't been using anything but AC so far) there is a fluttering noise in the vents. The fan blows hard, changes speed as it should, etc but makes a noise almost like a leaf or piece of plastic lightly fluttering back and forth against something. Doesn't seem to be making any performance problems, but annoys me like no other. I tried to take an audio clip of it ... but don't know how to post an MP3 clip...as photobucket won't upload MP3...

There might be some debris that made it's way into the intake vents.

I've seen this happen more than once. The air intake for reirculated air ("Mac-A/C" position) is located behind the glove box under the dash. When closed, the glovebox (which has no top) is in close proximity to this air intake. A piece of paper, tissue, a small plastic wrapper or something may have fallen from the back of the glovebox during closing and is stuck to the air intake and is 'flapping in the breeze'. Or, a piece of the foam on the face of the recirculation door may be starting to peel.
