I'm happy to see so many of us are modifying this fine automobile but given the fact that I had a temporary denial of warranty (due to the DR chip....long story) I'm a little curious about how many of you are running into warranty issues.....especially those of you with Super chargers.

Warranty denial in general is not likely. If the specific failure can be proven to have been caused by a specific mod, well, that's a possibility. I found that it's definately different from dealer to dealer, and wrench to wrench. I am comfortable with my service group, and the right people their know about my....stuff.
But please, enlighten us all, as to your near voided warranty....tell us more.

To make a long story short.......The car had been blowing a puff of smoke upon start up since about 1500 mile on the odometer. In and out of the dealer for months. Lots of troubleshooting. We all believed that faulty valve seals were the issue. The regional rep noticed (looked for) my performance chip and denied warranty replacement of the valve seals. Well, my service rep, who by the way was fighting for me the whole time, called me one day and said he has two other Marauders that have the same symptoms as mine and niether one has a perf chip. With that said, he went back to Ford and was able to get the OK to replace my valve seals under warranty.

They tried to pull that ***** on my dad. All he had was a K&N FIPK on his otherwise 100% stock Mustang GT and they almost denied him service to his tranny saying the filter kit voided the whole drivetrain's warranty. Luckily, the service manager knew better and yell at his mechanics because it was tranny work and not air filter work....long story short, my dad got a new tranny for the $100 deductible. :D
Do a search on the "MAGUSON MOSS WARRANTY ACT".
Here's the basic idea:
MAGUSON MOSS WARRANTY ACT
US Code - Title 15, Chapter 50, Sections 2301-2312
Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)) . For best results, consider working with performance-oriented dealerships with a proven history of working with customers. If your vehicle manufacturer fails to honor emission/warranty claims, contact EPA at (202) 260-2080 or www.epa.gov. If federal warranty protection is denied, contact the FTC at (202) 326-3128 or www.ftc.gov.
