Not sure if the x-pipe will work but I just put these headers on my car.

What issues did you run across when installing the Cobra headers? Looking on eBay, it looks like there are a ton of affordable options if I wanted to go that route. But if it's an ass pain, I'd just pass.

Good price on the headers!

You'll need to shim the DS motor mount 1/4" to clear the steering shaft.

The x-pipe will prolly work, but will most likely need to be lengthened to clear the crossmember on the MM. NBD, will just require cutting and sectioning with some additional tubing.

Wasn't too bad a job. I reused the studs and gaskets. You will need to get an egr adapter P/N 9F485 from Ford that threads into the D.S. header. Also, you will need to plug the front air pump fittings on the headers. The headers for sale in this thread come with the plugs! Get an EGR extension from musclemerc.com. Now removal and install is just tedious. Loosen and pull the a/c comp. as far away as possible to fit the P.S. header. Grind the steering shaft or shim the motor mount for the D.S. header. Use a 99-04 Mustang x-pipe with the headers. You will need to extend the pipes before the x to clear the trans cross member. Last, you will need custom pipes from the x-pipe to the muffler. So all in all it is a custom fit job, but not a lot of extra work and almost looks like it was meant to fit a Marauder.

I have a set that I need to get the plugs for the front. What is the part # or size of the plug that is needed?
