I don't know anything about CARB. Isn't an eaton certified? Or is it vehicle specific (Cobra)?

I like the "no hackin the cowl either" part! CARB (California Air Resource Board) is a corrupt layer of bureaucracy that needs to be defunded! sorry just my opinion. It needs to be certified per vehicle. There are mechanisms in place to send to a local state referee but a hassle cause you cant drive until then. argh.

Then of course cutting the stock tube into three pieces, flipping the middle piece upside down, trim here and there, weld. Followed by a very scientific test. :D J/K I could never blow that hard. So I had Joe do it.:P

It's almost like the cowl was shaped just for the Eaton and the EGR. It was a perfect fit!!

Glad I could help Chris! If it weren't for my POS Escort having a bum EGR a few months back and me being cheap with that car.... Turned out to only be a small rip in the rubberish diaphagm, easilly fixable with a few light passes using liquid electrical tape! WIN! And the MM is soooo easy to open. The Scort has the pressed ring all the way around it, still wasn't bad.
