What's the longest single session time you've spent working on your car?Whether it be mechanical and/or detailing..I'm just curious because I spent about 5 hours last Sunday and that was a record for me.

Well I rarely have more than 2 days in a row off...but usually I spend 12 hours each day on my two days off (so 24 total) detailing or working on whatever, once a month average.

Dawn til dusk for 4 days last summer... One weekend to pull the engine, one to install. Driveway and jack stands btw... :shake:

9 hrs. was the longest, I can remember, but could've went longer.
However, continued it the next day.
Always good to be refresh when working on the ride! No mistakes or errors.

I really don't want to know the answer to this question .... 'cause it is probably way too long. :P
The day before Carlisle I spent about 6 hours on what I thought were just the finishing touches. :o I spent the weekend before doing the wash, claybar, wax, engine and interior detail, etc. and I thought I was done. Fat chance. It is a damn addiction, if you start anything at all its a minimum of one hour 'cause no matter what you intended to do or see ..... you will see other stuff that needs to be done. The only thing that works is to STOP LOOKING AT IT. It hasn't been successful in my case.

i pulled an all nighter last year installing and fixing stuff on my previous MM to get the car ready for SSHS10. then went to my buddys house the next day and blew the tranny, never made it to the shootout.

My problem is not how long I work on my MM but when to make time to do it all. I have about 10 or 12 upgrades to do but not enough time to do them all.

10 hours on the '02 Marquis I used to have. Timing chain tensioners/guides. Would have had it done in 5-6hrs but I made a couple dumb mistakes along the way.
