If you could buy that for 2k, I'd say "super deal", some of those parts you won't use, but $2500 doesn't seem out of line to me, but I know if you piece it together ad don't get in a hurry, you can buy it for a little less.

Are they Canadian dollars? If so,how much in US dollars? Too bad you have to buy all of it...Already have SCT and CAI...I guess one could sell those off after....Sounds good...Let us know if you're buying or not...

-SCT Tuner(Extra 30-40 hp)
-BBK cold air intake (with mass air)
-Eaton supercharger (upper blower) (Extra 150 hp)
-lower intake
-Throdle Body
-plenum
-cobra timing cover (with pulleys) NEW**
-Intercooler, and heat exchanger
-Performance pulleys (Extra 12-15 hp)
-Hoses, gaskets, and belts.

Tuner's only of value if it's unlocked, and if it's an X-Cal 2 or X-Cal 3. Used value: $100 to $150.

Not familiar with a BBK CAI, need to find out if it's a 90mm MAF and if an air filter is included. If yes to the above, worth around $100 to $150.

Supercharger with plenum included: prices typically range from $250 - $400. Need to find out if the price includes mounting bolts.

Lower intake: prices typically range from $250 - $350. Need to find out if the price includes mounting bolts.

"Throdle" body: The OEM Marauder throttle body will work on the swap, so this could be sold to offset some of the cost. Value between $50 and $100, if bracket is included.

Plemum: should be included with the blower, normally is sold as part of that unit.

Don't want to use the cobra timing cover unless you want to notch your frame. Go with Terry G's (gortch) brackets instead. But this could be sold to offset some of the cost. Value between $150 and $200.

Intercooler: prices typically range from $250 - $350. Need to find out if the price includes mounting bolts. Also, need to find out if the I/C includes the intercooler manifold and tubes.

OEM Cobra heat exchanger: $90 to $150 is going range, but you're better off going with a Type 100 HE from frozenboost as it will do a much better job.

Upper pulley, OEM: $15 - $30.

Lower pulley won't work on our cars, need to go with a spacer and ring (can get through Metco). Again, may be able to sell to offset some of the cost. ($30 -$50?)

Various hoses, gaskets, etc: hard to determine value, only some of them will probably work, assume they're worth $100.

Given the above, the usable parts of the package are worth between $1,150 and $1,650. As the seller's indicated he's not willing to piece the package out, you're looking at paying $2,500 for potentially $1,600 worth of stuff, but there is a couple hundred $ you could recover through selling off unused parts, so IMO, not a great deal, but not a real bad one, either.

Also, while this stuff will provide you with the main components for the swap, but there are still a bunch of peripheral items you'd need to buy to finish up the project, so plan on spending at least another $1,000 for parts over and above this guy's items.

Thanks guys. Great info Cheesehead. I've been leaning more towards going with the trilogy kit for the simplicity. I don't have the patience to peice it all together.

Trilogy's a GREAT kit, but not cheap.

IIRC, guspech750 was quoted a price of $7,200 for one recently.

The $3,000 difference between that and the average cost of an Eaton swap will buy a lot of patience... ;)

If interested, PM me with your e-mail address and I can send you some info on the parts needed for the Eaton swap.

since i live right near the border i would be able to pick it up but then again, i'd get hit at customs. I'm still up in the air on each kit.
