Does anyone have a picture of the internals of the Marauder rack in pinion steering ? Are there such things as worm gear adjustment ? I have a little play in the rack when I turn from full right to left.

burt and SAAAAAC, your cars are incredibly dangerous and should not be driven. Repair is impossible but because I'm a stand-up guy I will send a transport truck to take them off your hands at no charge.

Seriously, Curt I know your car has a few miles on it, it may be the intermediate steering shaft...the one with the little u-joints that's right next to the exhaust manifold. If someone can turn the wheel back and forth while you look at it, perhaps you might be able to see if that's it.

Bob thanks for the offer on transport truck. I have been a member of AAA for years great value. I was hoping you were going to offer up the Blackbird to run my appoimtments just kidding. On a serious note I did go out & check the intermediate shaft & u joints all is tight. The play is in the rack it self. I notice it the other day when I had the car on stands after replacing front coil over shocks. The play is in the rack it self.
