Currently have 235-50-18 all the way around but the front two have the steel belt showing. I want to move the rear tires to the front and grab two new rear tires, maybe something like 255 or 265, maybe even 275. Already looked at the Nitto555s they r on backorder and I need tires ASAP. What other options are there as good as the nittos I need some opinions

I've had good luck with General Grabber UHP 255/55/18 on the rear, but will prolly go with Nitto 420S next time around.
Also sounds like you need "carfixers" alignment specs done to your car.

Try Nitto NT850's, I have them front 235/50-18 and rear 255/55-18 500 on the treadwear...a pretty good tire

I recall seeing that tread design on an MM at Carlisle and forgot to ask who it was ..... Now I know. :D

He just asked what they looked like. I'd say the treads on 225's would look like 255's

You can run the GoodYear Eagle F1 GS-D3 255/55/18 size on the rear with the OEM 235/50/18s up front with no problem. That combo is compatible with T/C if you have it on your MM.
I ran that ^^^^^ combination for about 2 years. I liked the tread design of the Goodyears but they did seemed to wear much faster than the BFGs. Only got about 15K out of the GoodYears. Also thought that the rear end broke away in wet slick conditions more often than the OEM BFGs. The GoodYears were pricey too at $212 each and that was more than 2 years ago. Handling was not too much different than stock except as noted ^^^^ above in wet weather. After my 2 year trial, I went back to the 245/55/18 BFG on the rear.
I haven't had any problem (so far) getting the BFG KDWS rears. Guess I am one of the few that actually prefers the OEM tires and can live with the 21K replacement cycle on the rears.

Yea i spoke with the guy at Tirerack and he told me the Goodyear GS D3s have been discontinued but they still had 2 left at the warehouse (lucky me I guess) only problem he wanted 230 a pop and he wouldn't come down on the price. The stock BFGs they had were going for 190 apiece but I was looking at another tire thread and it seemed like everyone was pretty much taking a ***** on the stockers.....I think if I can't find a nitto that I like that can also ship 2day I'm just going with the BFGs.

...... I'm just going with the BFGs.
If you decide on the BFG's, just make sure that these are the OEM BFG g-Force KDWS tires. The BFG T/A that is used on the Camaro is a different tire altogether and does not perform
the same as the KDWS and does not have the same sidewall stiffness. One of the guys (that knows tires) here rated that Camaro BFG T/A as "... better than bald tires".

Goodyear no longer produces the Eagle F1 GS-D3.

Ended up going with the Hankook Ventus V12 255/45/18 for the rear, they will get moved to the front as soon as the nitto555s come off backorder in the 265/50/18 size

I have the 255 55 420s rear and would rather have the oem bfg. Every time I switch lanes at 65 mph plus the car bounces and sways bad. Very dangerous. As soon as I get a few extra bucks I'm going to burn these out and getting the oem bfg from that guy on eBay for cheap and live to drive another day

Or the Nitto555s 265/50/18 - not a "truck tire" size!
