I need to have a 2003 Marauder transported from Topsfield, MA, to Tucson, AZ (will settle for Phoenix, if that's as close as you can get).
Looking to get it done for about $700-$750.
No exact deadline on this, but would like it within about a month.
I have it posted on uShip, but what like as many options as possible.

Just slap a fedex label on it and hope they don't weigh it. :o

I think you will be hard pressed to find an insured and bonded shipper who will do it for that. Maybe if they are already going that way and have an empty spot, but with diesel @ $4.00 a gallon, it'll be tough, good luck, let us know what you find, it may be a help to the next guy.

Pete at AutoExpress. 1-800-237-7398. They use a transport carrier. Proffesional, safe and courteous. I did this about two years ago with my MM from Connecticut to Florida.

him being new to the site, i think it would be hard for him to trust someone over the web to do that, at least it would for me.

I know of a girl in LA that got a car shipped from NYC to LA for 800 this spring. It was two weeks late though. Just drive your car.

Can you PM me your VIN? I want to see if it is my old car. If it is, I may be able to provide you with the Certificate of Authenticity that I still have.

...bought my MM back in March from used car dealership in NM. Cheapest (and most reliable) auto transport I could find wanted $1800 (from Farmington, NM to Charleston, SC). I ended up flying out and driving it back, which cost me $450 for plane ticket, $350 in gas, $150 for 2 nights in hotels, and $75 for food and snacks along the way.
Good luck on your quest....

I used Dependable Auto Shippers in Sept/Oct to have my Marauder shipped from Florida to Washington State. They were recommended to me by the person I bought the car from because he had dealt with them before. I would use them again in a heartbeat. If you can afford the extra $ I would ship it. No need to worry about a break down or accident.

They have online quotes too.
It cost me around $1200, but I paid extra for guaranteed delivery date (I wanted my car NOW), top of the truck shipping and insurance.
You can track the status of your car online. They claim its real time, but I noticed the car would be sitting all day and then over night jump 500 miles. I think it was updated daily. I skipped the direct delivery and had it shipped to a depot about 20 miles from my place. Then I didnt have to wait around for the truck to show.
When I picked it up they had washed it and it was ready to go. The paper floor mats they use were still in it. There was one tiny bit of damage. They had swapped a small amount of paint with a white car. About 1x1/2 in the area the license plate goes. There is a $250 deductible with their insurance and it wasn’t going to cost more than that to buff it out so I didnt file a claim. Other than that it was perfect.
If you ship the car MAKE SURE ITS ON THE TOP OF THE TRUCK. If you dont pay for it you end up wherever they put you and if the car sits under something that leaks fluids, say goodbye to your paint. I would have never thought about it, but found that out doing research.
The other thing you have to find out is do they own their own trucks or do they subcontract out? Almost all the horror stories I read about were subcontractors.

I had mine shipped from Detroit last Novmeber. ~800 to the West Coast. It was 3 days late getting here and 2 days late on being picked up -- mechanical issues. By the luck of the draw, I got a top bearth on the truck. It was FILTHY when it got here with 2500 miles of road dirt on it, but it was good.
