Im having isssues with my A/C. :help:
There is absolutely no cold air coming out.
I put it on MAX A/C with the manual fan on High.
The clutch/compressor is kicking on and off in about 10 second cycles. Is this normal?
I connected a recharge kit to check if it was possibly out of freon (knowing that if it was i had a leak somewhere) but the gauge said it was good to go.
Anybody know what the issue could be?
Thanks guys!

Are the lines getting cold? Could be a stuck blender door.

Sounds like the compressor went bad. I had the same issue. You need to bring to to a shop so they can check the compressor. A new one costs about $225.00.

Rapid cycling of the compressor can also be low freon.

Thanks guys! I checked the freon and its full. But now the compressor wont kick on at all so, I believe I have found the culprit. I will be bringing it in shortly. I'll let you guys know what the final verdict is. Thanks again for all the help guys!!!!!

Got it fixed yesterday! The evaporator was completely rusted through!!!! Also had to replace the pulley and idler arm to get rid of the whine!!! But all said and done it only put me back $505.
thanks guys for all of your input!!!!

The evaporator was completely rusted through!!!! Are you sure it wasn't the accumulator? It's very unusual for an evaporator to rust, but fairly common for the accumulator to do so...

Yes, you are correct! It was the accumulator!!!!! It was alittle late at work last night and evaporator sounded right at the time!!!!! Thanks for catching that!
