I purchased some 85/140 stynthetic blend with limited slip. Is that going to b ok or should I definitely get 75/140? Thanks on advance

Here's a quoted PM from RFOverlord regarding my 410 install...
"Yes, 75W-140 synthetic is now the proper lube. I know it says 80W-90 conventional in the book, but Ford revised that spec after the run of bad axle shafts in late '02. 75W-140 was always spec'd in the Police Interceptor and in trucks.
If you go with Motorcraft lube, you'll also need a bottle of XL-3 FM. Many of the name-brand lubes already have FM built in. I used Valvoline when I put the new axles in Phoebe and she's as quiet as a mouse, but Mobil 1 is good, as are AMSOIL, Royal Purple, and Red Line.
You'll need to buy 3 quarts, but it takes a little less."
;)
You're gonna love the difference!
Take your tuner with you.

I paid a little extra and went with Mobile1 LS and never looked back.
No issues after several thousand miles, and quiet as a church mouse.

your 85W-140 should be fine. It's the -140 part that is the important spec here, especially since you'll not be seeing any really cold temps where you are.

Any trick to getting the c clips out? Geesh. On mustangs this is a breeze. Seems as if the axles aren't going in far enough and the back of the clip is hitting the spring for the spider gears.

Loosened up the abs sensor and pulled it 1/2 way out. Thanks!!! C clips removed.

I haven't just had a chance to enjoy it but it's coming. We worked on if for a while in my buddy shop. It was hot!!! Had to get the backlash right and working with limited shims. We got it within specs so it's all good.

I have Excalibur 1 with Lidio tunes for 3.55's and 4.10's that handles all that.
I will add, I was out riding last nite and decided to roll the windows down and get on it a little. I probably went 1/2 throttle and when it changed to second I heard the tires scratch kinda. Not a chirp but you I know what I mean. Pretty awesome. I've still never put the peddle to the floor in this car, lol. Not exactly sure what I'm waiting on.
On another note. My 3.55's looked great when we pulled them yesterday. Axles too
