I came across a set of 19" wheels for a killer deal.. I really want to pick them up but have noticed that 19" tire selection for the diameter we have isn't out there.. At least for the rear... I found 255/40-19 for the front, but nothing for the rear..

Wheels are Saleen Heritage Wheels 19x9 and 19x10

If you have traction control (late 03's/all 04's) then select tire size height that will give you about three inches taller at the rear wheel installed. Width is not critical.

If you don't have traction control then the front and rear can be the same height.

That may be the problem, as i dont think there are as many choices for 19s, as there are for 18s, or 20s you may want to check nittos web site

Yeah 19's tire selection is scarce and super expensive. Those wheels do look sharp.

Try Falken brand they seem to have a selection of 19 inch tires. 255/50/19 for example.

don't do it, I used to have 19s on my car, you won't be able to get decent tires without overspending

This might be my only saving grace for the rear but pricey.. Not as bad as OE Ford GT 315/40-19's.. from tire rack for $636 each.. 305/40-19 would be ideal. but don't exist.

Fronts aren't too bad.. a 255/40-19 is around $160-$200.
