I just spoke with them a few hours ago and said nothing about an instrested buyer? (Typical dealer) I will back off it you want it. I have a friend looking for one and I tell you straight he is not happy with the asking price!

UPDATE: I walked out of my bank with both a cashiers check and my loan check and I called them to tell them I was an hour out. They told me they sold the car 5 minutes ago. Earlier today they told me not to worry about giving a deposit. I am beyond pissed off right now.

and they bought it for $16,900 what i was going to pary for it

The car wasnt perfect, someone stuck a cell phone antenna through the rear window and it had some scratches but it was straight and had zero rust

I think this dealership is playing games. I called a couple of days ago from the ad on craigslist just to know about the car (wasn't looking to buy) and the salesman told me they were asking 16,000 and they had room to move. All of the previous posts just don't add up. Asking 18000?? Sold for 16900? Something is not right.....

It is typical of "dealers" in the section of NorthEast Phila. It is a real shame but they like playing game....

I am still going to stop by tomorrow (Friday) as I will be in the area:)

Did anyone ever go over there and find this sales man a ass licking just for lieing to us.
I called and spoke to someone who claimed to be the sales manager. Told him how
inpolite this sales man is and that he has made a lot of peoole pissed off at him for
playing games. I told him I should come down there and arrest the whole lot of them
just being *******s and maybe a stay over night in jail would make them understand
what it is liked to be messed with. But of course I can’t do that, doesn't mean I would
not have liked to. My impression is he could care less. What any of us thought. He made the sale and that was it. To all of us who had made plans to go and see him
was a wast of energy. The end

I drove up and parked on the sidewalk and asked for Jose. A sales guy said he went home for the day could he help me? I told him the story about the car, the site, the member that had a deal pending on the car and when He came to pick it up he was told it was sold! Then I looked down on the rather nicely dressed man and said"so now who azz do I kick"for lying to my "buddie":flamer:

SO when I alighted for my marauder I was still pretty wet:censor:

the same thing happened to me when looking for a marauder. i had to drive 5hrs to find out it was sold. the dirtbag didnt bother to call me, even though i called the day before to confirm everything.
normally, i refuse to buy cars from dealers. i made an exception for that marauder, but never again.
be patient though, i ended up with a S/C blue and had a great experience buying it from a member on this forum. hang in there...
