View Full Version : West Coast get together at Shelby in Vegas?

Hey all,

Just had my Marauder dyno tuned by Gil at Shelby American in Las Vegas, and he was mentioning the possibility of having a Marauder dyno day and BBQ at the Shelby facility some time. I told him I'd post up on mm.net and see what we could put together.

This is very much in the "what if" stage, so no dates have been set, but I was thinking maybe in October. That way it's a little cooler, but before the snow flies for those of us coming from snow country to get there.

If there's enough interest I will work to get this put together with Shelby. Let me know what your thoughts are and if you'd be interested in attending.

If I recall. MV9 is in October.

Yeah, that's a good point. It certainly does not need to be in October. I was just hoping for a time when it would be a little cooler in Vegas. We could even look for spring of 2012.

Let me know what you all think.

I'm going down to Vegas for my traditional GTFO of Utah for the 24th (states birthday) This'll be the 4th time. We're taking the Merc. 22nd to 25th. I keep trying to call you Jason, answer the damn phone!

Hehe. Because this isn't a thread about how much power my car made, but about getting the west coast folks together for a BBQ and dyno day at Shelby.

I added a poll to this thread asking when you would prefer to have this meet. It seems there's enough interest to make this happen, we just need to decide on when. Thanks folks! :beer:

Ok. I'd like to see if we can get all the NorCal members to agree to a date we should have 10-12 active members by now and this would be a great event.

I'm interested. Its just under 4 hours for me.
As a matter of fact, I will be in Vegas starting July24th for the week.

I'd love to see MVX in Las Vegas. That would be awsome! To have it near the left coast instead of the right coast. Hershey is just too far for us Californians.
