I think I saw these mentioned somewhere, but I couldn't find them in a search--does anyone have these in black? Any pics? Plastic? Rubber? Just snap on, or some other means of attachment?

I only ever had these on one car--plastic snap-on strips that deteriorated rapidly from UV exposure, so I'm curious as to how much better the MM variety are. (And whether they would look any good.)

Thanks.

You can buy door edge moulding @ any autobody supply store and many auto parts stores. They easily trim to fit and come in Black, Chrome or well the other wouldn.t matter to us. . . They just slip on having an adhesive on the inside to aid in holding them in place.

We got ours at a local detail shop. The matte black is practically invisible.

Thank you all for the info.

(And it's the UV absorbed into the internal cloud structure and then, combined with gaseous acidic components, precipitated out as rain that's the problem here, Cruz. :coolman: )

I have the Ford oem accessory anodized black stainless molded door edge guards. Forget those ugly plastic/rubber generic ones that install with glue inside them. The ford are molded, non marking, clip on and fit perfect. They also allow the door to close without rubbing. In my past experience, the rubber/plastic ones are to thick and rub the inside of the door jam doing more harm than good.
