the air pump is a Magnusson. Jerry Banes has done a good job on the Trilogy (in my opinion)

It's an Eaton M112, but uses a different style plenum than the one on the Cobra.

Trilogy is an exellent kit, comes with everything needed to install on the car, plus an outstanding, well-written installation manual.

The only thing that kept me from pursuing one is the price. Guspech750 had a price quoted of $7.600 (shipped) for one recently. That's some big bucks, but you're getting a quality product for your money if you go that route.

BTW, if you're interested in one, Amazon Tuning Solutions in Anderson, SC is an authorized Trilogy dealer.

I recently installed one. I have to say, they thought of everything. The only thing I recommend for someone working with that kit is to solder and heatshrink all electrical connections. They give you all the taps though.

BTW, if you think you can install this kit, then you would have the knowledge/experience/mechanical ability to do an Eaton swap. Otherwise, you'll pay a shop to do either.

If you call Jerry I bet he'd be willing to discuss anything about his kit.

An Excellent complete Kit. Just give Jerry Barns a call. He's a really nice Guy & easy to talk too.

The install manual is very complete has tons of diagrams and pics for each step.
the things I had to purchase seperately; a set of one step colder heat range spark plugs, teflon tape, WD-40 ,gallon of coolant(different color),I got a splice kit for the alternator lead extention, heat shrink tubing,
loc tite blue and red & electrical tape, solider.
I also went back to a stock thermostat shortly after install.
The kit has been on the car for 6 years has over 80K has had many many test drives:twocents:

I took my car to Ford for a battery and I had the techs asking about the engine. They couldn’t believe that it was a aftermarket kit, they thought it was a Ford produced set up. Plus the original owner did a really great job with the installation as well as the other goodies under the hood.

If I were to do it myself, I would still go with Trilogy. It may be extra, but its worth it to me. You know everything will fit, the testing was done years ago, all the parts are there, its all new parts, and if you have any problems you have a company with a reputation of going above and beyond for its customers.

Ive done some home made setups on my XR4Ti and it was fun, but its also a hassle. LOL. I guess I am at the age where I would rather spend the extra $ than have to deal with any issues.

Get the installation manual. If I remember its free.

Like its been said, very OEM looking and the performance is just like it looks.

If anyone would like to see the Trilogy install manual to get an idea of what's involved or the parts list, you can download it here:

Very impressive manual. They covered just about everything. Are they still using chips or a handheld tuner?

Tuner for the one I just did. Had different octane tunes which can be nice.

Handheld. Mine came with an Xcal-2
They stopped using chips a long time ago.

Can't verify the accuracy of the price quoted as I didn't talk to Trilogy personally, but that's what Joe said the price is up to.

For that kinda money you could do two Eaton swaps if you shopped around for all the parts.

I've seen plenty of Marauders that are worth double that. Now if your starting with something that has 130k on it, then no, but then again, if it's the original owner, and they love the car and want to mod it, then I say go for it.

I have way more in mods than I paid for my MM, and I paid 21k for it...... go figure.....
