Built 4RW75 Trans...

Well my trans was leaking from the tail shaft area decided to have it looked at.

In summary they found:

Burnt clutches/bands/drum/metal in the pan....oh goodie.

Building up Transmission to support my power goals (600rwhp+).



Built Trans heavy duty components with valve body kit
XHD Extreme 2600rpm stall TC (based on motor/cam specs 475 lift/269 duration)
Gonna tune then done for at least a year....

At least you caught it now instead of after more power was introduced. One less thing to worry about in the end! :beer:

Was your trans bone stock with normal service intervals?

Or did you do the J Mod, deep sump pan...etc.

Lastly how many miles on the trans?

Stock 04 reman with 25k on it. I picked it up from jdennings. I know it was on his car with a Paxton SC. At this point it's par for the course....lol I might as well do the rear end too.
