It's really all up to you. What are you looking for out of a car?

Make a list of pro's & con's of each car.

I think www.cars.com (http://www.cars.com) will let you do side by side look see.

You have to live with your decision, not us. Weigh your monetary advantages, disadvantages, how are the caddies ratings for failing parts over time? Sc the rauder?

Low milage Cadillac STS V are not a dime a dozen Most guys run them into the ground.
The Milage on most 06 are in the 70 & 80K, the 07 are in the 50 & 60 K as are most
08, 09 are the last ones made and they are at a premium. The one I have for sale is
eaton SC with Spcetor intake and make around 570 HP. Car comes with a 16 speaker
Bose surround sound stock with Navigation, on star., XM/Sirus and iPod. To call it boring, is not quite accurate. Mine is under 100K mile warranty and has a little over
8000 miles on it. Why do I want to sell it. I want a DBP or DTR MM. I would also like to get out from under the car payments. Me and the Bank own it.
Come go for a ride with me and bring your helmet and ear plugs The SC scream like
it’s in the throws of an orgasam. If you like I can send you lots of photos of same.
I mean no disrespect to you Guspech 750, but the car is very fast. And quite beautiful. Your welcome to come go for a ride with me as well.

I see them all the time in the Chitown areas. When I mean boring. I am not refering to the performace by any means. Performance wise, quite amazing. I mean boring since I see them a lot. Its still a very cool car but are a dime a dozen over here.

Supercharged Northstar... What could go wrong??

Buy a Trilogy for the MM instead you will save millions vs keeping the Caddy in one piece.

More like "what won't go wrong", I had bought a new DTS with a Northstar, I would recomend an extended warranty, a very long one. BTW, glad I dumped that POS, problems ranged from body, paint, interior, motor, electrical, other than that, it was great.:shake:

5 years old and had 22k on it when I got rid of it, spent most of it's life at the service department.

Northstars burned oil all by themselves...if you huffed one, it would become "fill the oil and check the gas, please"...

We have a participant at the Southern Super Heavy Shootout that runs an STS V and he loves it. I think they came a long way from the 2000-2005 STS's (that Spectragod had) when this car hit the street. If I recall the those were FWD where this car is not, and the 4.4 Litre SC engine was new in 06 as well.

My issue would be paying 77k new for a Caddy in 06. If a used one was reasonably priced in acceptable condition, it would be worth considering.:burnout:
