We are having a meet at Don Garlits on August 13 2011, we are trying to get as many of us together as possible. Please post up if your able to come.
If your a Drag Racing fan you will have a blast, if you just like cars you will wanna go Drag Racing right away.
There is a Crackel Barrel next door to the Museum.
we can also go GO-KART racing afterwards just 15 miles north to the Museum.

I Plan on being there between 10 and 3 at least.
Surprised to see the lack of interest from the TB. Orlando and Jacksonville area...this is only 2 hours or less away from each area. We are talking about Don Garlits here...
As a Tampa Bay Resident in the 60's I actually remember listening to a DG race on the radio...

that I can leave early but not that early. What's the rush
Museum gokarts drink. We have all afternoon and night.

I'm actually down with whatever time there is, as long as we can accommodate everyone we can have a decent group.
after the museum we can go gokart racing, 50mph at 3 inches from the pavement them everyone is welcome to come to my house for a drink.

Me too, you can easily spend a couple hours in the museum, there truly is that much to take in.
I'm going to try to get there at least by 11...
