2004 Chip Tuner

I read in an earlier thread that the 2004 does not have a port to reprogram the chip.

Is this the port?

If so, Dennis, can you get a tuner for the 2004?

directedby, I think they all have a diagnostic port, which can be used to flash the EEC, but they don't all have provision on the board in the EEC to accept a chip

That pic is of the OBDII port. We all have one, and the ECM can be programmed thru that port.

Some 04's have the service port turned off, so a chip will not work you can send me the EEC and I will flash it same day and send it back or wait on the ne SCT Tuner

I really want to have access to the chip in the event I need to restore it for warranty issues.

When do you think the new SCT tuner will be a vailable?
