LCM Fuse (#12) Blown & Shifter sticks

:(Today my LCM fuse (# 12) blew and immediately after the Shifter started to stick in park after shutting the car off. I replaced the fuse and it blew again. I replaced it again and it didn't blow but then it would not move out of park unless forced while runing or off. I have to force it out of park but then it moves perfectly until I shut it off. Then it locks in park again. Any idea what is causing this?:confused: No problems until now..... Oh I forgot, The turn signals or emergency flasher won't work also.

is this in my old car Kirk? the shifter would occasially give me a similar issue but just jiggleing it a bit and it would work properly again

Yes, it's the Slayer, not sure about the fuses blowing. don't have time to run down the cause yet. maybe a job for when you get back???

I'd check the brake light switch. The shifter won't come out of PARK unless the brake is pressed. I'd replace the brake light switch before anything. The switch should run around $10.00 and take about 5 minute to change.
