What's the best product everyone has used for fine scratches and swirls? A few years back, I had the car power buffed with a cutter to remove swirls, but recently I've got some new fine scratches I'm having a tough time removing. I'd rather not use a cutter too many times, being the clear is thin to begin with.

Every time I wash the Rauder I see something new.
I think that the previous owner was Edward Scissorhands.

P.S. I park near no one.

As much as we like our "black" maauders one downside is the show EVERY scratch:mad:
I use products found at www.ardexwax.com (http://www.ardexwax.com) Best stuff I have found for black paint.
Ardex unlike most was is formulated for specific color's.
Also I have very good results with 3M products.

Yes, I'm a bit skiddish going the power buffer route, at least with me at the helm.

I would say you are correct, but I like the OEM look of the stock box. I can't be sure, but that could mean I'm starting to get older.

Get a Porter Cable 7424
Menzerna Intensive Polish
Menzerna Final Polish
Polish the scratches out you would have to try very hard to go through your clear coat.
Then top with whatever paint sealant you choose. It is what is BELOW the wax that makes it shine.
I like Zaino, Wolfgang Fuzion and Dodo Juice.

I wonder if the Marauder did come with a s/c from the factory, if it would look like that?

Your ride looks sharp & from the picks I can't see the fine scratches.
Guess gotta be in person to see.
+1 on black cars as everything is seen....fine scratches and minor imperfections.

when I had my 05 black p71, i would wash the car once a week and after everywash i would spray the car down with turtlewax black box detailer spray. it hide little imperfections. theres also a complete black box kit which brings a cleaner and a liquid wax which i would apply twice a year. Kept my 05 looking like new.
