It's been a lot of guys going to Aluminators/Terminators lately that have been doing swap in a week or two after work. I am really enjoying the pictures and information and how fast they are up running again. :bandit: :drive:

The trick is to get as many parts ready beforehand to minimize downtime. Mine ended up off the road for about a month, the fortunate part was I had the majority of the parts already.
1 week finishing up other minor work, scheduling time to work in friend's garage, collecting parts (had aluminator, flexplate already)
1 week removing engine, swapping parts, noticing broken factory parts
1 week gathering replacement parts, cleaning reused parts, leaving town for a few days etc
1 week repairing new engine, installing engine, break in.
I set aside money for a replacement engine once I bolted on the blower and was able to buy the new motor before the stock one gave up. If I didn't have it on hand it would have easily tripled the downtime, it took 3 weeks for my speed shop to bring it in on a stock order, saved me all shipping/brokerage costs.

My terminator was installed in a week!!!
That's exactly what I did! I got a list of all the parts I needed and ordered everything.
Chris (blown 3.8) did my install in exactly 1 week! He even powder coated my timing cover and polished some parts at the same time!
Picked up my car and drove 11 hours from Maryland to Indiana for marauderville 7 and then back to Maryland without the slightest problem! :bows: :bows:
Chris is extremely talented.
