Ive been told that someone reproduces the hood ornament for the 64 Park Lane series car as well as the plastic insert for it.

I dont seem to be able to find who does.... any help?
Thanks!

I have a '64 Montclair Marauder that has the hood ornament. I believe it was optional. I have never seen any information that someone is reproducing it. Emblemagic did some work on the plastic insert for me a number of years ago.

Try Hemmings? I think they have a "parts wanted" section.

Check with Kirk on this site. If they are available he will know where to find one.

I would have chimed in, but I don't know where to get one at this time.

Check with IMOA.They have a magazine with vendors that specialize in reproductions and NOS.

Sorry, I didn't try the link after posting. Go to their website http://www.lincolnoldparts.com/ and do a parts search for a '64 hood ornament. They had one listed.

http://collectorsautosupply.com/query.asp?make=FORD&year=0&section=BODY You can buy the repo centers here $250.00 a set. The guy that gave me the link got a set and said they are not bad but not great. just open the page and search the page for (Mercury Hood ornament insert) its just under half way down the page. The Emblem stand no one makes that I have ever seen. See them on Ebay once or twice a year. NOS ones sell for insane amounts. There is this if ya need one. http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-auto-parts-tires-auto-body-parts-1964-Mercury-Parklane-repo-hood-emblem-no-centers-W0QQAdIdZ310407910

..... I cant believe these things go for so much money! Yes, i saw the NOS one on EBAY for over $1,000. There is one on a junked out Park Lane sedan behind a local garage. I'll approach them on seeing if theyd sell it to me. Thanks for the links and help.
(I think my car is worth more in parts than as a complete car.... LOL)
