Door hinge

My drivers side lower door hinge is shot, Can this repair/ replacement be attempted by an average backyard shadetree mechanic, or is it too involved to replace both hinges. What is the easiest way to do this repair/ Thanks

The hinge replacement is easy. The lining-up of the door is the pain-in-the-rearend part. Very do-able in your backyard.

Replace the lower hinge. The upper requires removal of the dash.
