What do you mean? I just ordered mine also. What else would we need?

When I did the 410's, I also bought the pinion bearings, pinion nut and crush sleeve.
And of course the gear oil.

The above and I had my Trac Lok rebuilt at the same time. Its apart already and depending on mileage, you might as well. The parts were relatively cheap and she'll last forever now. There is also a install kit for the gears. The fluid can get exspensive depending on what you use. DO NOT cheap out, you'll be sorry. Good time to check axle seals too.
As you can see there is much more to it than spending $149 on a set of gears. Do your research, its all ready been done here for this car before and a little knowledge can save you boo kuu bucks in the long run.

How many miles were on yours when you did the gears and rebuild?
Mine were installed around 37k, and did not see the need in doing the rebuild. Not to mention Ford Premium Care in effect.

60ish, my Tech said they were still ok, but now their good for probably as long as I own the car since she doesn't do winter duty anymore. I should also mention all I had to pay for were the parts for my car and his Mustang as he also did it the next week.

I mean this good naturely, since I have done it many times myself in various projects, but...
It's it alittle late to be asking if you ordered the right parts?

Addco front & rear sway bars
Metco upper & lower rear control arms
Metco Watts link
Metco driveshaft hoop..... no HP increase, but good for safety .

Also suggest you consider upgrading the brakes.
If you're looking for substantially increasing engine performance, start saving up for a S/C.
For the cost of an exhaust system, you'll be about 1/2 way to a blower.
20 - 30 rwhp for exhaust, 100 - 150 rwhp from a blower.

Screw the exhaust. Just buy a S/C!!
I installed both sway bars with Moog front endlinks, rear control arms. Car feels great!!
I also love my 4.10's with my Eaton.

Another option is to upgrade your brakes........ I like what Fast Black Merc said, but I would not perform all of those steps at once..One step at a time... This way you really get a feel for what ea. mod does to impact your vehicles performance. Just my .02. (The car I have now is set up differently than my 1st one, and I can really tell the difference. If I had known what I think I know now, I may have set my 1st car up differently.......)
If you plan on installing an S/C at some point down the road(and enjoy matting the pedal on a regular basis), you will absolutely need a brake upgrade:burnout:

front & rear sway bars
upper & lower rear control armsAgreed. The exhaust system on the MM is pretty decent (until you add SC or nitrous) and spending a lot of money there will buy you more noise than performance gains. The sway bars and control arms make a bigger difference for less money.

If you drive in the city I would look into some good shocks befor them pot holes there the car to scrap. And if you drive in that salt crap in the winter id look into a way to rinse that stuff off befor it turns into a rust bucket

Actually I drove mine in the hills snowbelt southeast of Syracuse for 4 years. It was good, not great, but I never got stuck either. Dedicated snow tire package.

Hows the difference man. I set up my appointment for monday.
It's a big difference in takeoff speed, the car eats right through 1st 2nd and 3rd if you really get on it from a dead stop very worthwhile mod but I do notice the difference in rpms at cruising speed also. Cruising at about 65mph I use to be around 1400rpms now at the same speed I'm at 2100rpms so burning a tad more gas but hey its worth it.
I'm also going to switch to a bigger tire in the rear as that helps out with the rpm and gas issue. Got 235/50's on the back that are almost dead so ima switch to a 265/50 or something a lil bigger than that depending on what I can find...

B4 you go into the shop Monday take a look at where your rpms are at now at your normal cruising speed so you can see what I'm talking bout....lol I find myself riding in the slow lane on the highway just so i wont be cruising at 80mph....

haha will do. I have a bigger nittos on the rear to 255\55 and they fill the wheel well nice.

Just got 4.10's two months ago and find myself doing the exact same thing. I feel liberated as I now cruise at 70 instead of 65. LOL

The tune I got from Lidio took care of that I'm guessing as much as it could. I'm still off by 5 or 6mph bcuz my radar detector comes with a built-in speedometer sensor and I'm usually 6mph behind what it says. However it was worse before the tune and gears it use to be 9 to 10mph off....

You aren't running the right size rear tires, that's why. Once you get 245/55/18's on the back it'll be dead on. I personally run 255/55/18 for traction purposes

I was going to get the 555's in 265/50 for the rear since everyone raves about them on here but it seems like they are on forever backorder
