Ok....the short version.

My headlights our out, been going off the fogs for a fews months now. Highbeams are fine it's just the heads that are done. I need to change the fuse but looking in the OEM manual I'm not seeing it. What number is the headlights fuse housed in?!!? and what is the Amperage?!!?

Next, yesterday out of nowhere my windshield wipers just cut on "in the off position". So everywhere I go it looks like I'm anticipating rain....pisses me off. The manual says the Wiper motor in housing port 17 with a 7.5A fuse. I've replaced all my colored fuses and my wipers still cut on at will.

Please Help me.....Thanks!!

Sounds like you're suffering from a wonky LCM and the "wacky wiper" syndrome.

I think it's Fastblackmerc that does LCM repairs? There is one relay that typically goes out and if you have a steady hand and knowledge how to solder circuit boards you can probably fix it yourself too. There are a handful of threads about that.

There should be a stickied thread here somewhere about the wiper problem, titled "wacky wipers".

First, replacing fuses will not cure things that turn ON by themselves.

Second, if both your low beams are out, it's not likely to be fuse related...they're separate fuses for each side. You're probably having the infamous and very common LCM issue. Contact fastblackmerc...

For future reference the fuse chart is in the owner's manual on page 147. (#s 24 and 26...10A)

As for your wipers, check the thread stickied in the Shop Talk forum called "Fix your wacky wipers".

If you have 'wacky wipers' pull #17. Put it back in if it starts to rain. In the mean time clean out your cowl and if you let everything dry out real good you might get away w/o having to replace the wiper motor.

Unless you've upgraded the relay inside the LCM you WILL have the problem again... just a matter of time.

That's what you think!

What he said! It's the relay inside that craps out. Replacing it with a "NEW" lcm isn't fixing anything. And LCM's are very expensive! You're better sending it to fastblackmerc and have him permanently fix the problem!
