Just a little heads up. When ordering the compressor and air dryer, you are not told anything about a core return until you receive your part. If you don't return yours you will be charged for the core. Just thought everyone would like to know. Also, if you dont replace the air bags, there is NO warranty on the compressor.

Is the core for just the compressor or compressor and air dryer?

I'm going to be replacing my bags sometime soon and it's recommended to change out the air dryer as well.

I'm going to be replacing my bags sometime soon and it's recommended to change out the air dryer as well. I'm pretty sure it's for both as they rebuild them to resell. I sent both since I bought both.

My air compressor works good, just my bags have some dry rot cracks on them last time I had it jacked up and they inflate just about every time I turn the car on.

I got that message, never returned the core and never got any additional charges. I figured if they wanted the core bad enough they would pay for the return shipping.
