Anyone tried it, or is it just snake oil?

So no one has actually tried it before dismissing it as " Ricer Stuff " ?

"The new Hyper Ground System is the safe and reliable generation tuning system that provides a low resistance ground path. A better ground gives more torque, better mileage, better response, and better starting ability.
This system provides direct ground path from battery negative to body, chassis, and engine components to give extreme improvement on electrical circulation. In addition Hyper Ground System cables have 10 times less impedance than factory ground systems which provides immaculate conduction to prevent electrical power loss. The higher resistance of factory grounds, effect the ignition system and obstructs the primary potential."

After reading the above, repeat after me, slowly: "S-N-A-K-E O-I-L...."

Wow!

I'm an old man, and I've smelled some really rotten stuff in my day, but nothing I've ever smelled stinks like that line of shyt!

You could be the first, you would be out front and the rest of us would ride in your wake.

Ever heard of Ohm's law?

Ohm's Law defines the relationships between (P) power, (E) voltage, (I) current, and (R) resistance. One ohm is the resistance value through which one volt will maintain a current of one ampere.

Maybe you can explain how you will get more power with grounds......:shake:

Are you talking Electrical Power or Horsepower?;)

Cause Electrical Power is obvious....P=V^2/Ohms....Bad grounds mean more impedence (ohms). Higher Ohms means less electrical power assuming voltage supply (your battery/alternator) is constant which it is.

Hypergrounding is snake-oil as probably direct Horsepower contributions, BUT, grounding itself is a big issue and can cause a multitude of problems. I also have a GN and factory grounds are notoriously problematic. One of the first mods made by most GN owners is redo the grounds to the firewall, block and gas tank. Remember, the electric fuel pump uses the ground as a return path. So do the spark plugs through the engine block ground. So, a bad ground CAN cause diminished mechanical power as well as dimming headlights, funky ECM codes and other maladies.

You are correct in saying that bad grounds can cause mechanical problems, but what hypergrounding is, is the application of more ground wires for less resistance, hence increasing the power to said compnents, which as we know, is crap.

As long as you have good dependable ground on the car, it will function, more grounding does not mean it will perform any better than it does with a good ground.

That kind of stuff just makes me want to pull my hair out.

I dunno, you know the old saying, "if a little is good, more is better."

Of course, there's also an old saying attributed to PT Barnum: "There's a Sucker Born Every Minute". ;) -------> :D

Hey guys!

You are forgetting that really good Hyper grounds will make your electric supercharger spool up faster and that allows the extra air to swirl through your intake turbonator as well as allowing your fuel magnets and fuel catalyzer to function best with more, better, extra grounds!

I know because my buddy's neighbor's friend with a 8 second Honda Civic Akimoto Type 'R' said so!!!

OOH!!....I'm glad you mentioned that, I forgot!

With faux Buick Port Holes of course!.....They would promote Hyperventilating.

:hmmm:....Come to think of it, I often do that when I float an "air biscuit" in the car on a hot, humid day.
