My dream car!

wow. I am absolutely in LOVE with the Mercury Marauder. I originally was really into Crown vic P71's, But the second I discovered the Marauder, I knew I had to have it. I know I will get judged by this but whatever, im only 15 years old but this IS my dream car. Im gonna save up every thing I can to get one. Just got back from a 1600 mile trip to Arizona, saw a marauder out there. You shoulda heard me going nuts. I will upload a video of it later. Anyways, just wanted to introduce myself. My gameplan is save up my money im earning now ($160 a month only working sundays) then in may when I turn 16 get a good job, save up that money, and do side work on craigslist fixing computers and whatnot. So hopefully in a few years I will be a VERY VERY proud Mercury Marauder owner! Also, if there are any Marauder owners in california considering selling theirs, please let me know where and your price. thanks!

How many members here on this forum? I say we start a make-a-wish fund for this kid. Find a respectable member in Ca to hold the funds and help him find a solid used MM in the 8K range. I think it would be cool and probably bring some good press to this forum. I'd be in for a $100.

My dad works at XOMA, a Pharmaceutical Science lab (hes a mechanic) and they were getting rid of some UPS's(uninteruptable power supplys) Turns out they retail for $600, im selling one soon for $350 and I have more of them to sell :banana2:

I agree. I first liked the crown vics. But the marauder, The styling of it is more sexy, its rare, it something I would keep forever. and, theres nothing wrong with a little more horsepower :cool4:

I have a supra, but its pretty beyond reasonable repair. Its an older one, and would probably need a whole new engine. You could get it running, but its burning oil, clutch falls straight to the floor if you push it in. all messed up. Do you know how much I could get for it if i sold it, for like the body?

Them might all "look the same" but most have either subtle changes or full on blowers coming out the hood! You'd love it!
